Compass by Take Charge Negotiations is our proprietary approach to negotiation strategy. This approach is based on the intertwining of negotiation theory and practice with mindfulness and positivity.
Take Charge Negotiations, LLC was founded by Erin Gleason Alvarez in 2019. Our mission is to provide unapparelled negotiation educational experiences using mindfulness techniques. Our vision for Take Charge is to transform negotiation into a dialogue grounded in positivity and mindfulness.
Erin's 20+ year legal career has been devoted to promoting fairness, efficiency, and equity in dispute resolution. She has taught negotiation courses to thousands of people - in small entrepreneurial associations and Fortune 50 companies. Erin has personally negotiated deals ranging from five to nine figures. As an attorney, mediator, and arbitrator, she has sat around thousands of negotiation tables... and was the only woman in the room at 70% of those tables.
I enjoyed learning about new ways of thinking about approaching negotiations. Erin was full of terrific insights, and the monthly lessons were full of practical exercises designed to help negotiators feel more in control of the process.
